The Story

I found tallow back in 2019, and it changed my skin. It helped heal nagging issues and my skin felt the best it ever had. It was simple, effective, and versatile.

Fast forward to 2025. My girlfriend kept breaking out in rashes from lavender essential oil in soaps and lotions. The deeper I looked, the more I realized this type of essential oil dermatitis is common, and a lot of people are left with only unscented options.

That sent me down a rabbit hole. I learned that while essential oils can smell strong, they do not always carry the same skin-supportive qualities as whole plant infusions. I started testing small infused batches on my girlfriend, and her skin did not react to infused lavender. That was the moment I knew we were onto something.

Why Tallow

Tallow just works. It's close to our skin's natural oils, so your skin recognizes it and absorbs it well. It nourishes instead of just sitting on top.

But the bigger discovery for us was what to pair with it: whole plant infusions instead of essential oils. The scent is more natural and subtle, and the result feels far more therapeutic without overwhelming sensitive skin.

I'm not making medical claims here, just sharing our lived experience: when we switched from essential oils to infused whole plants, skin reactions calmed down and results improved.

We source everything from the USA:
