About Denver Tallow Co.
The Story
I started making tallow balm for myself a few years back. My skin felt like it was being fed for the first time. Actual nourishment instead of just moisture.
Friends started using it. Chapped lips, dry hands, rough elbows.
Then their friends wanted some. You get the idea.
Why Tallow
Tallow just works. It's nearly identical to our skin's natural oils, so your body actually recognizes it and knows what to do with it. It feeds your skin instead of sitting on top of it.
One friend used it on his baby's rash - gone overnight.
Another buddy who gets psoriasis every winter doesn't anymore.
I'm not making medical claims here, just telling you what happened. The stuff feeds your skin, and good things happen when your skin gets what it needs.
What We Make
We make tallow balms with grass-fed beef tallow, organic jojoba oil, and raw honey. That's pretty much it. Clean ingredients that feed your skin.
Everything's made in small batches in a kitchen here in Denver. Not a factory. Not a lab. An actual kitchen. We keep it simple because simple works.
Where It Comes From
We source everything from the USA:
- Grass-fed beef tallow from farms across the country
- Organic jojoba oil from co-op farmers in Arizona
- Raw honey and beeswax from beekeepers here in Colorado
Real ingredients from real places.
How We Roll
We're building Denver Tallow Co. one jar at a time. No big corporate backing, no investors breathing down our neck. Just making solid products that work.
The goal isn't to be the biggest skincare company. It's to make balms that actually do what they're supposed to - feed your skin and keep it healthy.
When you pick up a jar, you're part of Team Tallow - people who've figured out that feeding your skin beats everything else. Simple as that.
